Groceries groceries everywhere.
My husband and I constantly lament the price of food, whether we buy it and cook it ourselves or we eat out.
We devised a plan to save money while grocery shopping. It’s so simple: find recipes or decide what you’ll be cooking and only buy the ingredients needed.
Sticking to a menu saves a lot of money (and time).
Instead of wandering through a grocery store and picking out anything and everything, you only buy what’s needed.
Also: cook food with like ingredients to get the most mileage out of those potatoes or chicken breasts.
I estimate we’ve saved about $100-$200 a month simply being more organized about what we cook and eat at home.
